CO-VID19 UPDATES
June 2022 Update
Limited indoor dining is available! Please be patient as we continue to be short-staffed and are navigating various supply-chain shortages and ever-increasing operating costs. No table service is available on the patio, but guests are welcome to order and pay at the counter if they want to enjoy their meal outdoors.
As always, we are so thankful for our guests and patrons who continue to support and love us. We just passed our 4-year anniversary, and hopefully we can all celebrate in full force next year for our 5th!
January 2022 Update
We are currently experimenting with indoor dining for lunch hours only (11:30-3). Unfortunately, we continue to be severely understaffed. Please continue expect long wait times, especially for dinner hours. We are so incredibly grateful to all of our amazing patrons who have supported us through these past couple of years. It's been hard for small businesses everywhere, but we're truly blessed with the best guests. We hope you all had a great holiday season and that you continue to stay healthy and safe! Happy new year!
April 2021 Update
We know everyone is anxious to resume dining in with us. Unfortunately due to lack of staff, we do not have a clear timeline of when we can open our dining room. Our wait times currently can easily exceed an hour (sometimes two!), and we do not feel comfortable reopening only to provide subpar service. We promise, we miss you too. Thank you so much for your understanding!
That said, this is an open call for job applications for all positions! Please apply online or drop off your resume at 3300 Coach Ln.
Letter to Our Guests
November 2020
Dear Kobe guests,
First and foremost, we want to thank everyone who has supported us and loved us through these times. We took over in mid-2018, and as first time business owners, your support has meant to world to us. Half of all restaurant endeavors fail within the first year, but not only have we overcome the first year hurdle, we have gone through our second year and are navigating the third in the midst of a global pandemic and economic shutdown. Passion and hard work are not the only things that have seen us through - it has been the rallying of a community dedicated to supporting small and local businesses. Thank you so very much!
Our dining room has been closed since the beginning of the quarantine, even during temporary lifts on dining room restrictions. This decision had been difficult as we miss seeing your happy and friendly faces. There were a number of factors in making this decision, not least of which is the safety of our guests and staff. At this time we do not have a timeline for when we will open our dining room.
We understand that some of our guests are looking for a place that offers a place to sit down and eat, especially with the colder weather coming in. We are working hard at making our patio more winter friendly if you choose to eat your takeout there. However, we understand that is not for everyone. We hope you consider us when the mood for sushi takeout hits, and we sincerely hope to see you again when our dining room opens in the future.
Our greatest hopes are that you stay safe and healthy and that we can provide excellent and quality food for you and your family. Again, thank you to everyone who has supported our little family business.
In faith, hope, and love,
Kobe Sushi & Fusion
